I met up with a girl interested in hiring a private English tutor today. I was a bit apprehensive about meeting someone one-on-one by myself because my mom has hyped up how dangerous Taiwan is to hysterical proportions. Well, it turns out she's a Christian and that she was also worried that I might turn out to be some perverted creep. But to both of our relief, we turned out to be normal people just trying to stay out of harm's way. So we both made a new friend today! I feel like a school girl on my first day at school all over again!
